It's can't be caput medusae! The navel is the center of the caput medusae, and it's often related to ascites. Usually ascites appears earlier then such a huge caput medusae. Also on the left side of the patient's body you can see a dilated vein. Note how much smaller it is. I've never seen such a disease. It would be very informative if we could touch it. My guest is some kind of tumor in the wall of the vessels. Maybe angiosarcoma.

it is not caput medusa .Probably it is tumor.But we can decide the type of tumor only from sytologycal examine.
Sorry! But this man has a CAPUT MEDUSAE n it´s probably caused by a hepatocelular cancer
